In 2009 H1, the Chinese appliance industry continues to decline. From January to May 2009, sales revenue of the industry amounted to 266.104 billion RMB, with 7.71% year on year. The profit reached RMB 10.359 billion, an increase of RMB 1.32 billion years in one year.

From January to June 2009, Chinese production of household utensils gas was 11,900,100, an increase of 0.13% year on year. Production of Guangdong, Hubei, Zhejiang, Hunan and Beijing ranked among the Top 5, the total represented 94.57% of that of China. Beijing, Hubei, Zhejiang and Hunan won the growth rate the highest.

From January to June 2009, Chinese production of air conditioners reached 45.328 million, down 20.00% year on year. Production of Guangdong, Anhui, Jiangsu, Hubei and Tianjin ranked among the Top 5, total production increased by 79.40% of that of China. Anhui, Jiangxi and some other regions to achieve the highest growth rates.
